As a teenager Pattie Becker had the opportunity to work at Tempel Farms, the legendary Lipizzan breeding farm where she was greatly influenced by USEF rider and USDF Vice President George Williams, who has been her trainer and mentor ever since.

She is the head Dressage trainer for Fireside Farm, in Camp Lake , Wisconsin owned by Carole and Frank Allgauer. She currently trains with Jan Brons when she winters in Palm Beach , Florida and also continues to work with George Williams and Mette Rosencranz. During the 2002 and 2003 seasons, each horse she showed was in the top 20 in the United States , according to the USDF rankings.

At the 2004 Wellington Dressage, Becker and Tsunami the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare by Archipael out of Alexa, won the USEF Intermediaire I Qualifying Competition for the USET Intermediaire I Championship.
