Does the Tango in Paris at the CDI***Paris-Bercy
The Trakehner Gestion TCN Partout did
not enjoy his trailer trip from Erp, Holland, to Paris, France,
and showed himself to be very phlegmatic in the S-Grand Prix.
Anky van Grunsven gathered 67.60% and placed fourth. The audience
and judges, though, praised her new Tango-Kur, and Anky won
the freestyle with a score of 76.92%
With
the inexperienced Giorgio S (Hanoverian by Graf Lehndorff)
Isabell Werth did not win the CDI*** Paris World Cup qualifying
class, but consistently placed third twice with scores in
of 68.87, and 74.09 respectively. Even without a victory,
she's still holding the lead with 88 points in the World Cup
Standing after 6 (out of 12) shows.
Winner
of the Short Grand Prix was the Italian Pia Laus. The 31-year-old
rider, who seemed to disappear from the field after the Olympic
Games in 1996, established a strong presence with her new
Westphalian Renoir (by Rex Fritz). By winning that test with
a score of 69.51%, she has moved to a 37th place in the BCM/FEI
Rider Rankings.
