Tami Hoag Wins Grand Prix at Sport Horse International Hoag rode Feliki to win both Grand Prix classes with impressive scores of 69.375% and 71.250%. Feliki is known for her somewhat opinionated and fiery nature, so Tami was pleasantly surprised when Feliki earned a score of 8 on “submission”. “That had to be a first,” laughed Hoag, who matched her mare and scored an 8 for the “rider”, too. Hoag and her young, mare, Fabia also showed & gave a preview of what the future holds, scoring in the 70’s in both of their Third Level tests! Hoag shows no signs of slowing down. She plans to train with Fabia in Germany for a few months this fall, before heading to Florida for the winter dressage circuit. When she is not competing horses, Hoag switches into her suspense novelist hat. She has had 14 consecutive books on the New York Times Best Seller List. She is the author of “Dark Horse”, set in the horse show world of Wellington, Fl, and most recently, “The Alibi Man”, which also takes place amidst Wellington’s horsy set. Hoag will continue writing her next suspense novel while she is in Germany. Photo: Tami Hoag and Feliki win the Grand Prix at Sport Horse International with 71.250%. Photo by Sue Stickle. |
