Michele Hundt is best known to the Wellington equestrian community as the co-owner of Sho Clothes, a premier equestrian boutique. But Hundt is also a talented artist and this year she had the honor of providing the artwork for the cover of the prestigious Palm Beach Dressage Derby Horse Show program.

Michele’s uncanny fashion sense that is the synonymous with Sho Clothes comes from her background as an artist. Michele spent 17 years working as a Designer and Art Director in the retail industry. Hundt’s cover artwork for this Dressage Derby program is an example of her fine art skills. She combines bold lines with passionate color to express the strength and beauty of a powerful dressage horse. Recently, Michele’s work was displayed at the Mulry Fine Art Gallery and a prominent collector purchased one of her paintings the opening night.

A dressage rider for more than 25 years, Michele Hundt now captures the symmetry and beauty of dressage in her art.
