Markel/Cornerstone High Point Winner Series at DG Bar Ranch 2007

Mackinzie Pooley's Markel Blanket Collection

Fourteen year old Mackinzie Pooley of Coto de Caza, Calif. is collecting high point coolers at the California dressage shows this year. She has been the high point junior/young rider at every show she’s entered this year. At the Dressage at DG Bar show on May 3-6, 2007 she and her new black Oldenburg mare Jonkara once again won the Markel High Point cooler. Pooley and the 16 year old Jonkara scored 73.333% in third level test one.

This is Pooley’s first show season with the mare, which she purchased last August. Pooley trains with Karen Ball of Coto de Caza, Calif. Last year Pooley won the Dressage Seat Equitation Championships for ages 13 and under, held at Rancho Murrieta, Calif.
