Mainstreamers Drill Team - Saturday Afternoon
The Thorncroft Mainstreamers are a remarkable drill team whose riders - both handicapped and non-handicapped - range in age from 10 to 15 years old. The team's ten riders and six horses learn to work with one another, encouraging proficient performances and mutual understanding while demonstrating the intricate movements of the quadrille. Since its founding in 1986, the team has performed throughout the Mid-Atlantic states.
Fox Meadow Drill Team - Sunday Afternoon
For six years the Fox Meadow Farm Drill Team has been performing at community events and activities around the area.They have provided entertainment at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show,The New Bolton Center Open House, the Region 1 Jr.Team Championships and DRessage at Devon.With a new theme each year, they have taken on roles as Hawaiian dancers, Disney characters, a cowboy posse and this year as Latin dancers.The 2004 Team consists of Megan Coy, Emily O’Neill, Katrin Hofer-Fay, Dian Satara, Liana Garcia and Margret Lenfest.
Pas De Deux Exhibition by Deb Tsang and Anne Moss

Two local dressage riders will perform a Pas de Deux musical freestyle exhibition at Dressage at Devon. The choreographed dressage pattern is executed by a pair of horses and riders performing in mirror image to the classical ballet, Swan Lake. The riders are; Deb Tsang,Avondale, PA, riding her horse “Oz”, a Thoroughbred/Hanoverian gelding, and Anne Moss, Coatesville, PA, riding her horse “Helium”, a Thoroughbred gelding.They will be competing with their Pas De Deux ride at the Adult Team Competition this fall in Leesburg,Va,where the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association (DVCTA) will be sending eight teams (32 horses and riders), to compete with other teams from USDF Region 1.
Both riders serve on the Board of Governors for the Delaware Valley Combined Training Association, and are active dressage competitors that have earned their USDF Silver Medals. Deb & Anne are honored to represent DVCTA, as Dressage at Devon is run and organized by DVCTA members and volunteers.

Sabine Schut - Kery is a native German, now living in the USA and specializing in training and competing baroque horses in classical dressage. She will be riding her black Andalusian Stallion CAPPRICHIO partnered with professional Dancer Ana Ayromlou from Germany, who specializes in Modern and Flamenco dance. This performance will highlight the elegance of the Spanish horse and the beauty of the Spanish dance, performed by the charming Ana Ayromlou.
Dressage & Carriage Driving - Friday Afternoon & Saturday Evening
Enjoy a demonstration of dressage given by four of our nationally ranked drivers. Each turnout will feature a different breed; Connemara,Welsh, Dartmoor and Welsh Cob performing movements required in the Advanced Dressage tests used in Combined Driving Events. Dressage is the first of three requirements in Combined Driving and is followed by a marathon and cones course which is patterned after the concept of the 3 Day Event.
You will enjoy seeing single, pair and four-in-hand turnouts presented in their appropriate dressage carriages that include Gigs and Phaetons. Drivers are referred to as "Whips" and participating in our demonstation will be Kate Shields from Middleburg,Va driving her Welsh Cob gelding,Tracey Morgan from Beallsville, Md driving Dartmoor ponies, Kelly Valdes from Southern Pines,NC driving a 4-in-hand of Welsh ponies owned by Claire Reid and Lisa Stroud from West Grove, Pa with her imported Connemara 4- in-hand.This will be an educational exhibit hosted by National Pony Society (UK) and Ponies Association (UK) Judge, Mr. Bert Morland, who will be explaining the highlights and differences between all of the native pony breeds with live demonstrations. This is the first time in North America that all of these “Mountain & Moorland Ponies”, which include several rare and endangered breeds, will be shown together at the same event!
