The Celebrities

A panel of noted celebrities in film, television, and media will judge horse and rider teams at the Virginia Dressage Association Celebrity Freestyle. The 'judges' are invited to join a recognized Dressage judge in the booth during the competition. Their job, is to join a recognized Dressage Judge, in the judge's booth and give their 'impression' from 1-10 of the Freestyle Rides performed before them. Sissy Spacek, a Celebrity Freestyle regular is trying hard to make it this year, but it looks her film commitments will keep her in LA during the 2004 Celebrity Freestyle. Shown here with Dressage Judge, Libby Anderson, Spacek has had extensive expereinece now judging the Freestyle rides on her "impression".

For some of the panel, this may be the first time they have ever seen a dressage test, other judges are part of the elite in the equestrian community, but not as dressage judges.
