Moves Dressage Olympic Selection Trials To Florida
The event takes place May 13-14 & May 20-21. The nation's top 12 riders will vie for four Olympic team spots and one alternate. This event will be special for spectators -the USET is not charging admission to the trials, there will be a limited number of preferred seating available under the cover of tents, with the added perks of drinks and snacks, the cost is $20 per day or $30 for a two day pass for each weekend. Telephone 908-234-1251 to request preferred seating. The competition begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends about 12:00 noon. The 12 horse-and-rider teams will perform a series of required maneuvers in the arena, while five judges score their efforts. On the final day, May 21, the horse-and-rider teams will perform a musical freestyle. Directions: Southern blvd. West crossing 441 to Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. North to Sycamore Lane west.
