Stallion Market Presents;
Waldaire a distinguished name for a gentleman in equine form who is a sensationally consistent performer and producer. His name translates from German to English as “forest air" and Waldaire truly represents a breath of fresh air to the horse breeding industry. This striking descendant of Waidmannsdank, Gotthard, Abglanz and Darling combines outstanding jumping ability with proven FEI Dressage performance. His great-grandsire, Darling, was Champion DLG Stallion in 1976, and the legendary Gotthard’s offspring have won over 2,000,000 DM in competition. Waldaire’s lifetime average score is 65.795% to date. He has proven to be a consistent and above average competitor from Training level thru FEI. His average score at Intermediare-1 (not including Freestyles) is 68.567%. Thus far in his career, Waldaire has received 43 USDF Horse of the Year Awards spanning his entire show career. Success at the Grand Prix level can be found within his damline as well. Maternal granddam Daktary competed for several years under Olympian Robert Dover and Mary Flood, winning at the BLM Finals and Dressage At Devon at Grand Prix. Her full brother Dynasty medalled at the Seoul Olympics under Canadian, Cindy Ishoy and was a fixture for several years on the international dressage circuit. At his 100 Day Test he received numerous ‘7’s and ‘8’s and in 2003 Waldaire received an overall ‘8’ from the American Warmblood Registry. Not only did he achieve ranking in the top 2% of all horse populations, he is graded as a First Premium Premiere! At his AWR inspection, he received an 8.5 for breed, type and conformation and was complimented for his "ideal size", "excellent type" and "well shaped and well set on neck". In general, the AWR stated that Waldaire is an "impressive lovely stallion with great mind. Good conformation and topline, improvement for breeding sporthorses. Potential to go to the highest levels." This vibrant chestnut possesses excellent jumping form and International caliber dressage training. He offers breeders an excellent opportunity to add athleticism and talent to their breeding program. Waldaire’s foals inherit his outstanding temperament and excellent performance capabilities. Their correct conformation, good movement and high trainability make them superb candidates for both riding and breeding. It is our hope that mare owners will appreciate the consistent appearance of his exemplary foals. In 2006 Waldaire’s offspring made their presence know in the USDF Breed Show circuit and competition arena. Son Wizard WF was awarded the coveted title of Top Foal in North America. Daughter Wuendaire received an 80% from judge Lilo Fore at DAD. Son Wreinbeau was ranked in the Vintage Cup Series with his Adult Amateur breeder/owner/trainer. Waldaire is approved for the American Warmblood Registry, the ISR/Oldenburg North America, the German Oldenburg Verband and the Performance Horse Registry.Contact:
