He received the outstanding dressage score of 130.45 points. After his licensing in Verden, Fabuleux was purchased by the leading dressage stable, Gestüt Hoeftehof. There, he competed successfully with rider Holga Finken as a three-year-old in large Open German riding horse competitions. He was Champion of the Gottingen Riding Horse Championships with a score of 8.7. At the prestigious Norten-Hardenberg show, he was awarded Reserve Champion Three Year Old.

Fabuleux’s sire, Fabriano, was Champion of his 100-Day Test. According to the Hannoveraner Jahrbuch Hengst, Fabriano scored 136 on his mare’s dressage qualities, 125 on their jumping abilities and 157 on their foundation (leg scores/correctness), making him one of the very few stallions on the Hanoverian Verband’s “Toplist” for siring both outstanding dressage and jumping qualities. Dr. Wilkens, former managing director of the VhW, calls Fabriano “one of the best performance horse producers of Hanover’s breeding program today”. Fabriano passes on to his progeny elasticity, very good gaits, jumping ability and rideability together with a very good character.

Fabuleux’s dam, SPS Auguste (Augustinus xx/Absatz), full sister to licensed stallion Aquamarin, was an immensely successful broodmare and producer of four State Premium mares and two licensed stallions. Her dam line represents six unbroken generations of SPS mares. Fabuleux’s foals are excelling at breed shows and many have been named top foals and Premium foals at their inspections across the United States and Canada. See many photos of Fabuleux’s successful offspring at www. bridlewoodhanoverians.com. Facette was Filly Champion, Young Horse Champion and Reserve Grand Champion at both the 2005 (at 2 months of age) and 2006 KDA Breeders Classic and was Reserve Grand Champion at five months of age at the 2005 MSEDA Breed Show. Fabuleux’s offspring have won Get of Sire classes at MSEDA, MODA, KDA and Eden Park DSHB with scores as high as 82%.

Fabuleux is DNA tested homozygous for black pigment. His foals will be black, bay or brown in the absence of modifying genes. Fabuleux is approved by the VhW, AHS, GOV and ISR/Oldenburg NA.
