Versache is a 16.2 1/2 hand, Dutch gelding, by the famous dressage stallion, Olympic Ferro and out of an Elite Dutch mare by Idocus Crown, another fantastic dressage producer. Versache has shown tremendous versatility, excelling in both the dressage and jumping arena. In 2013, Versache ranked in the top 20 for leading Dressage Breeding Sires with the USEF. He is a great example of a modern sport horse with a lovely balance of athleticism, pedigree, and temperament.
His career started in 2007 where at the ISR/ Oldenburg stallion test, he was Reserve Champion of the 30-day stallion test scoring a 123.23, with a dressage index of 127.73 and a jumping index of 127.53. Additionally, he went on to receive the US Reserve Champion in the jumping IBOP with a final score of 76. Versache has gained three stars (*/*/-/-/*) with Oldenburg NA, first for his conformation at inspection, second for his stallion testing and third for producing two approved stallions.
Versache has produced some amazing offspring in his first few years of breeding. His colt Vader has won 2 years standing the National DHSB Award for ISR/Oldenburg of North America for both his yearling and weanling years (’09 & ’10). Vienna Cuvee, a 2009 filly, also won the National DSHB Award for ISR/Oldenburg of North America. His 2009 Filly Vogue was awarded Oldenburg High Point Champion both days at the Great American USDF DHSB Championships. To date all of Versache’s foals have ranked among the top 10 at a national level with the United States Dressage Federation. Versache has produced amazing movement to his offspring, with two fillies scoring 8.8 and 8.4 respectively for gaits, and another colt scoring 8.5 for gaits. All of Versache’s offspring are currently competing in both DSHB classes. In 2013 Vader and Vogue will be competing toward qualifying for the Markel USEF Young Horse Championships. Versache’s foals consistently receive high scores in in all their competitions. His 3 year old colt Vader just won his Traning Level test with a score of 68%.

At the 2010 USDF Northwest Breeders Championship Versache was awarded USDF Great American Championship DSHB Reserve Grand Champion for Stallions. Versache also went on to earn the title of Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Stallion Champion for KWPN of North America. In 2012 Versache was awarded Top Producing Sire for Dressage Sporthorse Breeding by the North West Sporthorse Breeders Association.
Versache was gelded early last year and is an uncomplicated fun boy to ride. He has played through all of the Intermediare One movements. He is a very comfortable horse to ride and is as beautiful as they come.
