This tall gentleman is very good at his job. He won several Hi-point awards this summer with his 14-year-old rider at Training Level, and did a great job with his trainer at Second Level a few months later. He has soft, floating gaits with lots of cadence. He is quite narrow and easy to sit. He will definitely teach a student how to ride from back to front. He is not overly sensitive, hot or spooky. He inspires confidence in his riders!
In the stable he is totally easy, he even keeps his stall pretty clean. He doesn't need lungeing at the shows, and rarely at home. No joint injections or medical issues, although he can get sore in his back muscles if he is not ridden round and over his back in the warm-up.
