Saramac is a 5 year old mare by Soprano out of a Boy-Oh-Boy mare whose full sister, Flamboyant, won the 2008 Silver Stirrup Grand Champion Upper Level Eventing Award and is now competing in the upper levels in Dressage.
Boy-Oh-Boy was the top Grand Prix Dressage stallion in the USA in 1996. He won the 3-Year Old Under Saddle class at Dressage at Devon. His Dam was Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Mare at Dressage at Devon.
Soprano (by Sandro Hit) has had three offspring qualify and compete for Denmark at the World Championships for Young Horses. He produced the highest scoring mare, Grevens Sa Va, at the World Championships in 2010. His son, Chaigon, competed at the Swedish National Championships and was 9th out of 69 in the Champions' Finale under Minna Telde. His son, Smeyers Sopan is ridden by top Swiss Dressage rider Marcela Krinke Susmelj is currently competing and winning at Grand Prix, winning the 2016 World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle. Currently, Soprano has four offspring competing and placing in the upper levels in Europe and a multitude of offspring competing and winning in Dressage, Hunters, and Eventing in North America.
