Micanopy RH is a 2009, 16.1+ grey mare. She is talented, willing, and very fun to ride. She has confirmed tempi changes, including 15 ones, and is starting piaffe and passage. In 2016, she scored over 71% at Fourth Level and over 68% at Developing Horse Prix St. Georges and was Open Fourth Level Champion at USDF/GAIG Regionals in very competitive Region 3. In 2017, she won at Intermediare I with scores over 68% and won at the Intermediare Freestyle with scores over 74%. She qualified at Region 3 USDF/GAIG Championships for US Dressage Finals in Kentucky in all three of her classes – PSG, I-1 and the I-1 Freestyle – holding her own nationally among stiff competition. She is a super FEI partner, a great show horse, and has a lot of heart! With a little more time, she'll be a fun, willing grand prix horse. Micanopy is also great to hack out and gallop in the field.
Micanopy is also very well bred. She is by the late Elite Hanoverian stallion Maronjo, a proven multi-discipline sire and grand prix dressage competitor. She has beautiful conformation and three lovely gaits. Her dam, States Premium Mijou, an overall “8″ Matcho/Argentan, scored two “9s” on rideability in her German under saddle test and produced an approved stallion. International dressage horses have come from her mother line. Micanopy herself was filly champion of her Hanoverian foal inspection. A rider and/or breeder’s dream, Micanopy will be a fabulous addition to any program.
