This is a stunning gelding born in 2000 is a true schoolmaster with a very willing and sweet temperament. I have personally seen an 11-year-old girl riding this horse and doing tempi changes. Khorovod is a "Gentle Giant" and despite his height was ridden by a 5.4 ft. rider to the top. He would make a wonderful U-25 Grand Prix Horse or can take another shot at the FEI World Cup with a new rider. In 2013, Khorovod was 17th in the FEI World Cup final with a score of 64.2% in Grand Prix! Khorovod was a participant in the 2011 and 2013 European Championships as well and enjoyed 87th place in FEI World Individual Dressage Ranking.
Khorovod is totally uncomplicated in the show ring, confirmed in all movements, has outstanding basic gaits and gorgeous passage, piaffe. At 15 years of age Khorovod is in his prime and ready to take his new rider to the top. Don't miss your chance to own a REAL FEI horse that will earn you all of the USDF Medals. Perfectly sound and a current training session can be videotaped for prospective buyers. He is currently located in Moscow Russia, but could be easily delivered for viewing to Germany or Holland. He travels very well and has no vices.
Here is what a Dutch rider Laurens Van-Lieren has to say about this horse after training and riding him: "Khorovod is very easy with exercises and light in the hand. He really tries his heart out, as long as he can earn some sugar." The horse is for sale only for finacial reasons, otherwise Tatiana Dorofeeva would have competed him throughout Europe this season. Khorovod was the winner of the Central European league in 2013/2014 and was qualified to compete in World Cup Final in Lyon, sadly he didn't as owners decided to sell him. Khorovod will compete in the next few months Big Tour at CDI-3* to prove his excellent condition. Serious inquiries only please. This is truly a very unique opportunity at a reasonable price.
