Henry Hitzbleck is a four year old Oldenburg gelding, standing 17.3, by Harvard. Henry was awarded premium foal status at his inspection. Leggy and elegant with an uphill build and a tremendous amount of presence, Henry possesses all the qualities necessary for a top competition mount. Henry attended two recognized shows this summer, and was Training level Open Champion in August. Nearly every score was over 70%, with 8 or 8.5 for gaits.
He is incredibly brave and well behaved in new environments and conducts himself with a maturity that is well beyond his years. He easily learned the First level movements, and has even done a few clean and expressive flying changes. Henry is fun to ride, he is naturally forward easy to connect.
Although he is tall, he doesn't necessarily need a tall rider, he is easy to ride for even a more petite rider. Sweet, willing and honest, Henry suits any rider who wants a top quality horse with a great brain.
