Delacroix aka "Crosse" is a coming 7-year-old 16.2 hand registered American Warmblood. She has a background in eventing, as I bought her a year ago from Olympian Julie Richards for myself but together we've decided she is meant for the dressage ring. Crosse is also impeccably bred and is a Donnerhall granddaughter. She has received scores equivalent to 78% including 9's on her gaits and 9's throughout tests equivalent to Training/First level dressage. She also has received prizes for having the highest dressage score of the entire competition.
She is light in the hand and an overall blast to ride. I have schooled her through counter canter, leg yield and shoulder-in. She has her mediums in both trot and canter. We have started working haunches in, she knows turn on the forehand and haunches. We have also schooled the canter down to 5-10 meter circles. This mare has unlimited potential in the dressage ring, is a quick learner and has competed successfully First level - will be ready to show Second level and possibly Third this summer. Since she's trained in eventing the flying changes will be easy to put into the mix.
Fun, sweet and easy to deal with. Clips, great for the farrier, no maintenance, bathes, great in the trailer and show stabling. Can be ridden in all weather conditions. Can supply video of higher level work. Good home a must; I'd keep her if I could but I'm a young professional and unfortunately can't afford to keep and compete two horses.
