Bandyt is sired by Dutch stallion, Unycus, imported from Holland and he carries both jumping and dressage blood lines. His temperament is remarkable and he passes this wonderful quality on to his foals. Unycus has successfully competed in both eventing and FEI level dressage which is a testament to his versatility and talent. “Uno’s” lineage goes back to Ramiro Z who has become famous worldwide and is duly called the “Euro-stallion” of his day. “Preferent” Ramiro descends from the famous male lineage combination Raimond-Ramzes X – Rittersporn XX.. His daughter, the super-mare Ratina Z, is the dream of the showjumping world, winning both gold and silver at the Barcelona Olympics and the Volvo World Cup of 1993. His progeny distinguish themselves internationally in dressage as well.
Bandyt’s dam is the imported Dutch broodmare, Relevante. She passes on extraordinary movement and bone structure and her offspring are incredibly sound as sport horses. Her lineage goes back to the great Cor de la Bryère (1968-2000), one of the most influential sires in modern warmblood breeding. He is known as the “Reserve Stallion of the Century”, second only to Landgraf I.
