Birth Year:
17.0 hands

Bandyt competed at 2nd level in his last competition winning one class with a 68.9% the first day and then upping his game to win with a 79% on the following day. This horse is not only beautiful but loves to perform and work. We were very proud of this lovely boy!

Gorgeous, uphill grey gelding standing approximately 17h and schooling 3rd/4th level. Bandyt is a forward thinking easy going gelding with a great brain. He works hard to please his rider and while being a bigger boy he is a very maneuverable balanced horse that is comfortable for riders of all sizes. He is registered KWPN of NA. He has been ridden and shown by both professional’s and his amateur owner through 2nd level. He has been on many outings with scores to the high 60′s Training level though Second level and competed at the Regional Championship level. Bandyt is schooling half pass, pirouettes and flying changes. He is now starting to school the four tempi’s and is started on the piaffe passage work. He has a powerful trot and loads of presence. He has been healthy and sound and is ready to move up the levels with his special someone!

Bandyt is sired by Dutch stallion, Unycus, imported from Holland and he carries both jumping and dressage blood lines. His temperament is remarkable and he passes this wonderful quality on to his foals. Unycus has successfully competed in both eventing and FEI level dressage which is a testament to his versatility and talent. “Uno’s” lineage goes back to Ramiro Z who has become famous worldwide and is duly called the “Euro-stallion” of his day. “Preferent” Ramiro descends from the famous male lineage combination Raimond-Ramzes X – Rittersporn XX.. His daughter, the super-mare Ratina Z, is the dream of the showjumping world, winning both gold and silver at the Barcelona Olympics and the Volvo World Cup of 1993. His progeny distinguish themselves internationally in dressage as well.

Bandyt’s dam is the imported Dutch broodmare, Relevante. She passes on extraordinary movement and bone structure and her offspring are incredibly sound as sport horses. Her lineage goes back to the great Cor de la Bryère (1968-2000), one of the most influential sires in modern warmblood breeding. He is known as the “Reserve Stallion of the Century”, second only to Landgraf I.
