Canadian Event Riders set to Compete at North American Junior and Young Riders Championships
Written by Julie Cull, Equine Canada Ottawa, ON—Canadian Eventing Committee is pleased to announce the teams that will represent Canada at the 2010 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Riders Championships. Presented by Gotham North, these Championships will be held July 28-August 1, 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, which is also the site of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Riders will compete for top honours in team and individual competition in two divisions—Junior One Star Championships (open to riders aged 14 to 18) and Young Rider Two Star Championships (for riders ages 16-21). |

Russian Rider Steals a March in HSBC FEI World Cup™ Eventing

Karen O’Connor (USA) shoots into equal 10th place with just three events to go after a convincing victory at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana.Her mount, Mandiba, travelled to the 2008 Olympics as a relative novice; now, with the FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games™ on home territory approaching, the Irish-bred gelding looks the finished package after leading from flagfall to finish on his Dressage score. |

Riddle Master Named Omega Alpha Canadian Event Horse of the Month for June
Written by Julie Cull, Equine Canada Ottawa, ON—The Canadian Eventing Committee has named Riddle Master as the Omega Alpha Canadian Event Horse of the Month for June, based on his second place finish in the CCI 3* division at the 24th annual CCI Bromont Three Day Event, The Todd Sandler Challenge, in Bromont, QC, on June 10–13, 2010. This is the second time that Riddle Master has had this distinction as he was also name the recipient of the award in October 2009. |
