The first leg of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage presented by ECCO is coming up in Odense, Denmark next week on 19-20 October. Odense has set the scene for the first leg of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage for several years and this year is no exception. Once again Odense in Denmark will be featuring some of the biggest stars of international dressage. In August many of them left the ECCO FEI European Championships in Herning carrying medals – now they are back fighting for the prestigious World Cup™ points. The entries list reveals Isabell Werth on Don Johnson, Edward Gal on Glock's Voice, Hans-Peter Minderhoud on Glock's Romanov, Fabienne Lütkemeier on Qui Vincit Dynamis and Tinne Vilhemson-Silfven on Don Auriello.
The Danish EC-team which finished fourth after Germany, The Netherlands and Great Britain will also be back in Odense competing. The team including Andreas Helgstrand on Akeem Foldager, Anna Kasprzak on Donnperignon, Lone Bang Larsen on Fitou L and Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein on Fabienne is in great shape and ready for a trial of strength. Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein will be riding Fabienne as she retired Digby after the EC in Herning.
Young Danish Debutant
Last year young Danish rider Anna Kasprzak made her debut in the World Cup™ in Odense. This year will also feature a young Danish debutant: 19-year old Nanna Merrald on Milibar will enter the arena for the first time in an international senior competition and of course a World Cup™. Merrald and Millibar is a former Junior European Championship Gold medallist.
