A familiar face on the International Dressage scene, Oded Shimoni, is a veteran of two World Equestrian Games, two European Championships and has qualified two horses for the Olympic Games. Oded is presently training and teaching at Arlene "Tuny" Page’s world-class facility, Still Point Farm in Wellington, Florida.
Oded promotes few select sale horses and he accepts horses in training, conducts clinics, and naturally, teaches extensively. International recognition has brought demands from other riders, including highly successful professionals, who want to benefit from his training.
He works with top riders including Arlene “Tuny” Page, Todd Flettrich, J. J. Tate, Silva Martin, Jason Canton, Ariane Dierkes, Danielle Vallandingham, Buck Davidson, Nancy Later, and Mary Ann Grant. Oded also teaches a handful of Young Riders and competitive Adult Amateurs.
His work with notable trainers such as George Wahl, Conrad Schumacher, David Pincus of the Spanish Riding School, and Hubertus Schmidt have added to the knowledge Oded gained from personal experience. Oded enjoyed training as well with Christine Stuckelberger, the Swiss Olympian. “Before I went to the 1998 World Equestrain Games with Amora, the focus of my life was learning,” Oded said. “Now I have achieved what many riders hope for. Today’s riders want to learn as much as possible from someone who has gone through the training and the experience."
