American Dressage Riders in Europe
Grand Prix rider and Best-Selling Author, Tami Hoag mysteriously disappeared a few months ago. She was not in Florida or at her home in California. Dressage Daily did some sleuthing and found the scoop!
Tami has been in Germany for the past few months, training with Michael Klimke. She brought her young mare, Fabia with her. And she has two new Grand Prix horses she is training on, as well. Both of her new horses are geldings and that they are both very different in personality and looks. Rush Hour is a striking bright chestnut and Bacchus is a handsome dark bay.
Here is a sneak photo of Tami taken by trainer, Betsy Steiner, who has joined Tami in Germany this month for some intensive training with Michael and Tami and her horses. Tami will be making her debut showing the horses in Germany at the end of November, so she is thrilled to have the whole team on hand to help her prepare.
After that, Tami tells us she is looking forward to an exciting new season in Florida in 2008 and is ready for a little warm weather!
Our sources also say she is working on a new book but the details on that will have to remain a mystery for now!
Other Americans weathering the chilly euro weather:
Debbie Mcdonald, Jan Ebeling, Courtney King, Sue Blinks and Kristina Harrison-Naness, and nancy Smith are at Barn Balkenhol training and planning on doing some showing. Karin Offield and Lingh are chilling in the Netherlands, and resident Americans Catherine Haddad in Verden Germany, and Heather Blitz in Denmark. Lisa Wilcox is working with longtime trainer Ernst Hoyos.
