The 2008 season has added events, sponsorship and support from the dressage community who are thrilled with the increased selection of quality competitions at the user friendly location owned by Palm Beach County, just east of the bustling equestrian community of Wellington. While the future of the show grounds within the Palm Beach Polo Club continues to go though a metamorphosis, Dressage has a sure thing in 2008 with multiple shows at this location as well as in the White Fences community in Loxahatchee.

Wellington Classic Dressage at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, a Palm Beach County will actually be picking up the action in December, with a fundraiser for Toys For Tots.

Wellington Classic Dressage is a Gold Star Sponsor for the Toys for Tots program. “Last year they averaged one toy per needy family, unfortunately there are not enough toys for all the needy children.” said John Flanagan. “This year the demand is even greater, and there's a real shortage of fund raising activities, so we're happy to promote a Toys for Tots toy drive with our Holiday Challenge Dec.12-13.”

Participants in the Wellington Classic Dressage Holiday Challenge show can bring in toy donations. As an added fund raiser vouchers good for $25.00 of the price of the office fee will be issued for donations of $25.00 or more. All checks are to be made payable to the Toys for Tots and are tax deductible to the donor. Vouchers can be used at any of the next 3 Wellington Classic shows. Stay tuned to DressageDaily who will be On the Scene for the 2008 Dressage in Florida season. There are exciting sponsorships to be announced soon, so plan to participate in the Wellington Classic Dressage events in 2008.
