Seidel, beloved long time American Dressage Team member and man of few words recently e-mailed DressageDaily to say he is “doing well and starting therapy again. No surfing or riding just yet, but in the near future.” Guenter Seidel has finally returned home to California after his long recuperation from a [#24343 override="riding accident he suffered in June" title="riding accident he suffered in June"] when he first arrived in Germany to prepare for the 2010 Selection Trials for the Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games, Kentucky 2010. The German born American Dressage Olympian, Seidel suffered a severe fracture to his pelvis and spent the months following his successful surgery at the home of Klaus Balkenhol before then spending time with his family in Germany.
