Vichy Under The Spotlights


The oldest French international show jumping event comes back in the heart of the thermal city for another top level competition emotionally intense. More than 250 horses, 80 trucks and 20 countries are expected for three days of jumping two weeks before the Olympic Games of London.



The Société


Hippique Française offers a great new feature with two evening fixtures on Friday and Saturday including show jumping and equestrian shows. Modernity getting along with tradition in Vichy, the event delights 10,000 visitors every year in the heart of the city. 4 hectares, 250 stables, a grass arena entirely renewed and famous in Europe, and, the last but important ingredient, a grandstand built by Gustave Eiffel that allows us to celebrate beautiful moments of sport.

The very new feature The Grand Prix on Sunday 15 July will be available for FREE wherever you are in the world, thanks to live video broadcasting on the official website: www.csi-vichy.com A chance for all of those that will not have the possibility to come to Vichy!

Thanks to a technique of illumination combining the control of energy and quality of lights, the International Show Jumping of Vichy extends the pleasure of spectators that will benefi ts of a very nice evening of gala for all the family.

The programme of these two evenings
Friday evening: Equifun at 19h30 for all pony clubs of the region.
Saturday evening: Opening of the show at 19h30 with an Agility Dog competition, followed by an impressive 6 bars class. To finish the show, the Jehol Company will show us with humor and poetry all the capacities of their Comtois heavy horses and mules, companions of labor. End of the show at 22h, just in time to go watching the French traditional fireworks of the 14 July!
