USET 1st Nation's Cup Gold Medal Team - 2nd Clinic Announced

Dates are announced for the 2nd Original Gold Reining Horse Clinic. The first ever Nation's Cup Gold Medal Team will conduct a second clinic March 22-24, 2002 to be held at City of Industry, California. The illustrious foursome, which includes Craig Johnson, Dell Hendricks, Bill Horn and Scott McCutcheon, have continued to receive an overwhelming demand from the reining horse industry to conduct a second clinic.

The first clinic, held last May 23-24 in Gainesville, Texas was a great success. "It was really amazing to see how well we all worked together. I felt each one of us complimented the other in training styles," Hendricks said. According to the students in attendance, the payoff was big -- an opportunity to learn from four of the most talented and respected trainers in the world. The first clinic included sponsorships by Cosequin, Tractor Supply Company, Ariat and others.

The next Original Gold Reining Horse Clinic promises to bring students another rare opportunity to learn from these world renowned trainers. Together, Johnson, Hendricks, Horn and McCutcheon have multiple NRHA Futurity and Derby Championships, AQHA and APHA Championships as well as combined NRHA earnings approaching nearly $3 million. "It is a real learning experience when you bring this kind of talent together. This clinic has something to offer everyone -- from the beginner to the experienced non-pro and trainer," said Wendy McDonald, manager for the next clinic.

The clinic will be held at Industry Hills Equestrian Center in City of Industry, California. The complex includes a beautiful covered pavilion, large stalls and trails. The equestrian center is attached to the Royal Palms Resort which offers two championship golf courses, tennis, aquatic center and is convenient to many local attractions including Disney Land. Special golf and entertainment packages will also be available through the Original Gold Clinic. A special room rate of is also being offered at the Royal Palms Resort. Due to the limited package capacity, everyone is encouraged to book early.

Other plans for this Gold Medal winning team include a new video release which will feature instruction from each trainer on everything from spins to fencing. The video is expected to be available in October of this year.
