USEF Names 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Endurance Team

Lexington, Ky. – The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named five horse-and-athlete combinations to the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Endurance Team. Additionally, four horse-and-athlete combinations have been named as alternates. The following horse-and-athlete combinations have been named to the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Endurance Team (in alphabetical order):

  • Ellen Olson (La Motte, IA) and Farzad Faryadi’s Hot Desert Knight, a 2000 Arabian gelding.
  • Heather Reynolds (Dunnellon, FL) and her own Chanses, a 2005 Arabian gelding.
  • Jeremy Reynolds (Dunnellon, FL) and his own RR Gold Dust Rising, a 2006 Arabian gelding. 
  • Kelsey Russell (Williston, FL) and Valerie Kanavy’s My Wild Irish Gold, a 2003 Anglo Arab mare. 
  • Dr. Margaret Sleeper (Frenchtown, NJ) and her own Syrocco Reveille, a 2000 Arabian mare. 

The following horse-and-athlete combinations have been named as alternates to the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games U.S. Endurance Team (in ranked order):

  • Jeremy Olson (La Motte, IA) and Amy Wallace-Whelan’s Wallace Hill Shade, a 2002 Half-Arabian gelding. 
  • Valerie Kanavy (Fort Valley, VA) with her own Just Gold, a 2005 Arabian gelding. 
  • Lisanne Dorion (Williston, FL) with her own SH Sur Trad, a 2004 Arabian gelding. 
  • Melody Blittersdorf (Jeffersonville, VT) with her own Synthetic, a 2000 Arabian gelding.
