The All Breeds Program is a year-long competition where dressage scores are tallied and ranked within a breed association. Scores may be obtained from any rated USDF dressage show, however minimum numbers of scores and other criteria apply. Riders or owners must by USPRE members, and the horse must be declared for USPRE to qualify for this national distinction. At the annual USDF Convention in December, the All Breeds Awards winners from all associations are invited to come and accept their awards in person. The USPRE All Breeds program continues to grow in popularity. Numbers of registered horses in the program grew again this year by 17%, and has almost doubled in the past two years.
Horses that won this distinction at the lower levels are now moving up to the FEI levels, and new, exciting pairs are appearing. Several of our winners (Janne Rumbough, Sabine Schut-Kery, Chirstina Arrington, and others) have been invited to the USDF National Championships in November, having also won or placed high in their Regional Open Championships. One pair (Rachel Chowanec and Embrujado) has already been to the USEF Festival of Champions, where they were Reserve National Champions in Young Riders. One horse and rider - Sabine Schut-Kery and Marques - won the prestigious Horse of the Year Award for Prix St. George. One pair is also a Gold Medalist in Eventing (Cindy Ramirez0-Smith and Carina). Our All Breeds winners are a distinguished group!
We want to recognize this special group of riders and congratulate them on this national recognition. You are ambassadors for the PRE Horse and USPRE, and you deserve your moment of Glory!
