The Ukraine’s Inna Logutenkova and Don Gregorius reigned supreme in the FEI World Cup Freestyle presented by VIAN GROUP-WDM in Tallinn. The enthusiastic crowd in the Saku Suurhall saw some really nice Freestyle tests during this inaugural WDM promo event this weekend and WDM’s managing director Camil Smeulders was very satisfied: “This was a very successful try-out and we are pleased to see so many dressage fans here in Tallinn.”
Inna Logutenkova, who is sponsored by VIAN GROUP and trains with top Dutch dressage coach Sjef Janssen, showed a nice, fluent and energetic test. Her 13-year-old Oldenburger stallion Don Gregorius was forward and the piaffe and passage exercises were really good. The combination scored multiple eights for their test. Don Gregorius only scooped once at A, but Inna showed her experience and straight away she had him back on the right track. The pair scored 76.275 per cent.
Yesterday’s Grand Prix winner finished runner-up in the Freestyle, Sweden’s Jennie Larsson. Jennie and Zircoon Spring Flower form a very elegant combination and the test showed swing, power and submission. Only the passage sometimes showed some irregularities, but overall it was a very pleasant Freestyle to watch. The pair scored 73. 425 per cent.
Third place was for Russia’s multiple championship rider Tatiana Dorofeeva with her big KWPN stallion Kartsevo Upperville (2001). The pair presented a nice Freestyle and one of the highlights was their pirouettes. At the end Tatiana was really happy with the result of 72.900 per cent.
Secretary General of the Estonian Equestrian Federation and show president of the Tallinn Horse Show Siim Nõmmoja was very pleased: "I am happy with the cooperation with WDM and VIAN GROUP and we hope it will be a long lasting partnership and that we can develop further in the future."
