Training Program at Fireside Farm

Patricia Becker

Fireside  Farm is a fifteen-stall barn, with a six stall adjacent barn next to  it. These two barns along with the oversized indoor arena are both  heated. Fireside Farm was built with all the amenities, including six  all weather turn-out paddocks (footed with limestone) a constant air  exchange turning over every twenty minutes (the air gets re-circulated  for the horses comfort), a complete sprinkler system in the in door  arena and state of the art stalls for the lucky horses whom reside  there.

Patti  currently has fifteen horses under her full time care and training  program and brings seventeen horses with her down to Wellington Florida  with her for the winter season. Eleven of the horses that come down for  season are brought from Fireside Farm in Illinois while the remaining  six come from all over the nation to train with Patti each year in  Florida during the winter season. Twelve of the horse under Patti’s  training program reside at Mission Farm in Wellington , while five of  the horses reside at Jan Brons’ facility during the winter months.
