This year the Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDIW, February 28-March 3 at Equestrian Estates, Loxahatchee, Florida, celebrates its 30 anniversary. The most enduring and established of all the dressage shows on the Florida circuit will begin festivities on February 28 with DressageDaily’s Mary Phelps, hosting the 5th Annual Fundraiser for the most enduring of charities for our sport, the Equestrian Aid Foundation. Directly following the FEI Jog, with the help of the EAF Team headed by Sheryl Kursar and the premier Equestrian Event planner Sean O’Keefe there will be exciting auction items offered including a breeding to Sandro Hit, donated by Performance Sales International, signed celebrity pieces from AllStar Enterprises including Superbowl and musical one of a kind pieces, Dressage lessons of Olympian proportions, and a growing list items and services used and worn by all in attendance. The food will be plentiful, and the wine will be flowing, all free to those who attend. We ask that you come prepared to bid and give to the oldest charitable organization in our sport started by the dressage community, which is a “people rescue”: horse people helping horse people. Stay tuned to DressageDaily and our DressageDaily Facebook and Pinterest pages as we add items for bidding. Even if you are not participating in the show all are welcome to attend.
