Wellington, FL - April 11, 2012 - The teams are set and ready to compete for gold in the final event of the inaugural 2012 Global Dressage Festival (GDF) circuit, the $35,000 WEF Wellington Dressage Nations Cup CDIO3*, presented by Stillpoint Farm, on April 13-14 at the Stadium show grounds of the Global Dressage Festival.

All riders will participate in the FEI Prix St. Georges (PSG) test on Friday, April 13. Following the PSG test, the top five teams will go forward to the FEI Intermediare Freestyle, which takes place in the afternoon and evening on Saturday, April 14. The PSG test will be used only to determine the top five teams and not used to determine any final team placings. The remaining teams and individual athletes will go forward to the FEI Intermediare I test to be held Saturday morning.
Team placings will be based on the top three Freestyle scores of each Team. The percentages will be added together and then the top team will be the one with the most points/highest added percentage.
For a VIP experience at the Nations Cup the Global Pavilion offers guests a private table, a breakfast and lunch buffet, and an open bar. On Saturday night dinner will also be served. A reserved table for 6 guests is $1,000 for two days (Friday - Saturday.) On Saturday night only, there are a limited number of tickets available at $100 per seat. There will also be a National Show running concurrently with the WEF Wellington Dressage Nations Cup on April 13-15. The classes range from Training level to Grand Prix.
