The Plains, VA: Pulling double duty on the same weekend at Morningside Training Farm in The Plains, Va not just as a featured rider in Shannon Peter's July 7 and 8th clinic, but also as a fellow clinician is High Performance rider and trainer, Jim Koford. "I'm really happy Jim has allowed me to do something like this," says Kelly Gage. "He's really generous with his time and it would be a good opportunity for regular and new students to experience Morningside and have a few days of training right before Debbie Rodriguez and Marty Healy's Dressage at Lexington. I hope to see him more as a regular teacher at Morningside." The two day clinic is open to all levels and breeds, and included within the ride is auditing for Shannon Peters clinic. Jim, who is currently riding Shirley McQuillan's Rhett (R. Johnson) at the Collecting Gaits National Championships in Gladstone, NJ, spent a successful season in Florida.
Making appearances at the Masters and other major CDI's and qualifying him to appear at the World Cup in Holland. An unfortunate turn of events prevented him from going, and he has been steadily training towards Gladstone ever since.
"Jim's support of the amateur population is amazing," states Gage. "I've never really met a person who is willing to go to great lengths to help bring individuals to their goals."
The two day clinic will run from 10:30 in the morning onward. Price per ride is $135.00 and auditing is $40 with lunch and $20 without. For details contact: Kelly Gage - (859) 699-7383 or firstname.lastname@example.org
