Ocala Fl: David Marcus, 2012 Devon Grand Prix Winner, International FEI rider and Canadian Olympic team member will be teaching at Longwood Farm South on February 24 and 25, 2013. “Longwood Farm has been known for excellent eventing and dressage competition and has been a huge supporter of clinics, I’m only happy that David can complement their roster. He is a fantastic rider who really is breaking out with quality horses and riding and should benefit a growing dressage population in Ocala,” states Kelly Gage, owner of Team EnGaged.

A life-long equestrian, Marcus began his dressage career in 1996. While always apart of the international scene, Marcus hit his stride in 2012, with numerous CDI large tour wins and placings throughout the East Coast and Florida  on  Chrevi's Capital (Chrevi's Cavallo), a 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding who he won Dressage at Devon with, and Don Kontes (Don Schufro) a 12-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding, who also took the Grand Prix Special at Devon to scores in the upper 60’s. The year cumulated for Marcus at the 2012 London Olympics where he participated as a team member on Chrevi’s Capital. He currently trains with Robert Dover.
