Wellington, FL - November 25, 2013 - Grand Champions Polo Club will host the popular International Cup Tournament this Saturday, November 30. Last year's tournament matched the leading polo players from the United States against those from England, and it was a sellout event. This year's tournament will once again have the crowd on the edge of their seats as the USA faces off against Chile in a thrilling event that will exceed all expectations.
Polo fans can spend the Saturday after Thanksgiving watching two exhilarating matches while relaxing field side with family and friends. The gates will open at 12:30 p.m. and the opening match, featuring the Legends of Polo, will be a crowd-pleasing, hotly contested competition for bragging rights. Jim Sackett, former news anchor for WPTV, will present the trophies to the winners of the Legends of Polo match.
Then, at 3 p.m., team USA will take to the field against the team from Chile to compete for the title of the 2013 International Cup. The Consul General of Chile, Mr. Juan Luis Nilo, will be on hand to present the trophies to the winners of the International Cup match.
This year's game will benefit the Museum of Polo and Hall of Fame, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the development, history and tradition of the sport of polo by collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting its collections, as well as honoring those who have made outstanding contributions to the sport.
For the tournaments' sponsors and those guests who would like to show up for the match and not have to worry about bringing their own seats, food and beverages, there will be a VIP tent. VIP tickets are now on sale and various sponsorship packages are available.
The VIP Corporate Sponsorship, for $1,500, entitles you to a reserved table for 8 at the VIP tent, where you can enjoy cocktails and food from Aaron's Catering of the Palm Beaches. You will also receive corporate sponsor signage and parking.
Individual VIP tickets are also available at a cost of $200 per person. This includes VIP admission for one to the Grand Champions Lounge with a mid-field side view of the match, while enjoying cocktails and food from Aaron's Catering.

The Grand Champion Tailgate Package, for $500, includes admission for one car, a preferred tailgating spot to view the match, a 10x10 tent and a table with four chairs. You will also receive a bottle of champagne on ice, four glasses and four Grand Champions Polo Club hats.
A Signature Tailgate Package is available for $200 and includes admission for one car, a reserved tailgating spot, a 10x10 tent, a table and four chairs.
