Stinna Tange Kaastrup of Denmark Wins Double Bronze in Para World Equestrian Games

The darling of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games has got to be 16 year-old Stinna Tange Kaastrup and her New Forest Pony Labbenhus Snoevs who secured the Team Bronze Medal as well as the individual Bronze for Denmark and individual Bronze for grade 1B in the Para Equestrian Games with a score of 70.174 on her final ride. In her first ride, all was going well until her pony tripped in the corner. Miraculously Stinna, who has no legs stayed in the saddle, straightened her helmet and continued to nail a lovely test. “I did think I would fall off” she told DressageDaily, “but lucky for us we stayed together.” “I felt awesome out there,” said Kaastrup, 16. “My horse was a little turned on. He was very proud of himself to be out there, and I was very proud of him.”
