Annville, PA - December 30, 2013 - St. Christopher's Horse Show will be held at a new home when it returns to Pennsylvania, May 7-11, 2014. St. Christopher's will now take place at the Swan Lake Stables in Littlestown, PA where it will continue to host some of the best hunter-jumper competition in the Northeast! Show management will continue to be provided by Lloyd Longenecker and Ryegate Show Services.
Swan Lake Stables is a premier hunter-jumper facility located on 300 carefully managed acres in south-central Pennsylvania just 45 miles from Harrisburg, 50 miles from Baltimore and 90 miles from Washington D.C. Swan Lake boasts well-maintained footing and beautiful jumps and will provide exhibitors at St. Christopher's with more space for riding, as well as, up-to-date stabling.

"While we have great respect for the tradition of our former home at the Quentin Riding Club, we feel that moving the horse show to Swan Lake is in the best interest of the horses. We look forward to offering our riders, sponsors and spectators an improved horse show at this new location."
The 2014 St. Christopher's Horse Show will feature a USHJA National Hunter Derby, USHJA Pre-Green Incentive Stake and multiple hunter classics. The Hunter divisions will be USEF Premier Rated. All traditional AA & C rated hunter sections will be offered. New for this year will be the addition of Junior Hunter 3'3". The tradition of offering the Hunter Breeding division will continue.
The Jumper Ring will feature a Mini Prix, as well as qualifying classes for the Young Jumpers Championships. The jumper divisions will include Adult-Amateur, Junior/Amateur-Owner, Children's and Pony jumpers plus a Schooling Jumper section.
The equitation divisions will run medal classes for juniors and adults including ASPCA Horsemanship, Taylor Harris National Children's Medal, Pessoa/US Hunter Seat Medal, and Ariat National Adult Medal. The equitation division will also feature a lead line and a walk-trot division.
St. Christopher's Horse Show is a member event for the Pennsylvania Horse Show Association, Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of Professional Horseman's Association, Pennsylvania Jumper Association and Central Pennsylvania Junior Horse Show Association. The show provides an opportunity for competitors to gain points towards year-end standing with featured classes for the North American League (NAL), Marshall & Sterling (M&S) and Washington International Horse Show.
St. Christopher's Horse Show is also part of the TAKE2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program, a program developed by the New York Thoroughbred Horseman's Association, along with the New York Racing Association and New York Thoroughbred Breeders Inc. The goal of the program is to offer new opportunities for off the track Thoroughbreds, as well as promoting the use of the breed in competition.
