Two December auctions will offer an array of show horses, young horses and breeding stock and breedings to popular stallions. The December Internet Auction features Aquila, a 16.3 hand Dutch gelding who won all three of his classes at the 2014 BLM Championships with scores to 75.4%. A young, Oldenburg GOV broodmare by Stedinger is also offered for sale. The black mare is selling in foal to C. Quito. Bidding for the December Internet Auction is open now and closes on December 4. The Elysium Farm Fund Stallion & Breeders Auction will offer 2015 seasons to leading stallions including Bugatti Hilltop, Cabalito, Contucci, Doctor Wendell MF, Don Principe, Feuri, Fhitzgerald, Sir James, Lexington, Prelude by Mozart, Ridley and more.
The auction will benefit the Dressage Foundation’s Elysium Farm Fund for U.S. Breeder Excellence. The Fund provides financial assistance to breeders to pursue educational opportunities related to breeding that will advance their careers, promote sound breeding practices and further enhance the quality of U.S.-bred dressage horses. Bidding for the auction is scheduled to open on December 5 and bidding will close on December 12.
The action resumes in February with the Winter Auction for Sport Horses & Ponies and Stallion Service Auctions for the American Hanoverian Society (AHS) and the Belgian Warmblood Breeders Association North American District (BWP-NAD).
