As good as it gets - an absolutely spectacular field of competitors will be coming to the start for the four FEI World Cup Finals in the Leipzig Exhibition Halls by the 14th PARTNER PFERD from 27 April to 1 May 2011. A total of 81 finalists from 31 countries with 139 qualified horses will ensure a breathtaking horse sport event. A huge amount of Olympic precious metal and World and European Championship medals will be convening in Leipzig. Edward Gal of The Netherlands won all three gold medals at the World Championships dressage and the Final of the FEI World Cup earlier in 2010. Now the Dutch superstar has the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Final on the list with "Sis" - Sisther de Jeu - a younger half sister to the super stallion Totilas. The dame is a pretty 12 year old bay mare.
Isabell Werth has won five Olympic gold medals as well as several World and European Championship titles - there is no other that can match her success. She will be bringing her individual World Champion 2006 mount - Satchmo - for the reunion with the Leipzig spectators. Ulla Salzgeber is heading direction Leipzig: the team Olympic Champion and individual silver winner 2004 is entering her first championship in years. And Adelinde Cornelissen from The Netherlands, Team World and European Champion, definitely counts as one of the favourites for the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final.
Is a "red carpet" necessary for the stars? The brand new footing in the World Cup arena and in the warm-up ring in Exhibition Hall 1 is practically what the red carpet is for the Oscars - a catwalk, or better the foundation on which fame can prosper. The special sand mixture, which has to uphold the expectations of sport at the highest level, will be sold following the four FEI World Cup Finals. The base comes from the company GEDO and the British company Martin Collins is responsible for the correct mixture for exact mass of elasticity, moisture and grip during the PARTNER PFERD.
Whoever dreams to ride over the same footing as Olympic winners and World Champions with their horses can purchase the footing. All you have to do is stop by the stand of Martin Collins in the exhibition hall.....
Of course dressagedirect will be present in Leipzig with Claartje van Andel (chef), Kim Kreling (chef German) and photographer Julia Rau. Check the library of 25 previous FEI World Cup Finals at dressagedirect's website. Find startingorders at the event's website on www.engarde.de
