The first World Cup Qualifier of the season is taking place this evening at the HITS Desert Horse Park in Thermal, California. Viewers from around the world can watch live as show-jumping superstars like two-time Olympic Gold Medalist McLain Ward, Canadian Olympic Silver Medalist Jill Henselwood, Olympian John Pearce and many others battle it out for blue in the $50,000 Strongid® C 2X FEI World Cup Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health.
Showjumping Unplugged! TV (SJU TV) has been a fixture on the HITS Desert Circuit and around the sport for nearly a decade, bringing the fast-paced sport of Grand Prix show jumping to viewers around the world. All Grand Prix classes offered at the HITS Desert Circuit are presented by Pfizer Animal Health and are qualifiers for the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix, which takes place on September 12 at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York.

In order to qualify for the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix, a rider must compete in eight or more HITS Grand Prix classes.
