Wellington, FL – The ShowChic mobile boutique at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival was host to Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Hester, dressage fashionista Karen Lipp, and a multitude of other dressage competitors and enthusiasts during the show series’ CDI-5* week. Carl Hester was on hand at ShowChic to sign his new book, Valegro: Champion Horse, for fans of the Olympian and his former equine partner who went on to international fame.
Carl Hester, who is visiting the United States from his home in the United Kingdom, attended the Adequan Global Dressage Festival to help fellow professionals— most notably Katherine Bateson-Chandler— in competition. In between riding and training, Hester took some time to greet fans and sign copies of his new book Valegro: Champion Horse at ShowChic. A long line of the Olympian’s fans wrapped around ShowChic’s mobile boutique and spilled into the vendor courtyard, filled with enthusiasts hoping for an opportunity to get their piece of dressage history. The event sold over one hundred copies of the new book that chronicled the history of Hester and his champion mount, Valegro.
