Culpeper, VA -  The upcoming HITS Culpeper July Show Series offers two of the four remaining Culpeper stops on the road to the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix and the all-new Diamond Mills $500,000 Hunter Prix Final, the richest classes in the world. The Showday National will kick off the series July 6–10, followed by the Cavalier Classic July 13–17 for two consecutive weeks of show jumping at HITS Commonwealth Park in Culpeper, Virginia. Entries for these July shows must be postmarked by Wednesday, June 15.

Topping the list of highlights at HITS Commonwealth Park is a newly resurfaced Grand Prix ring, a much anticipated property update.

“We’re excited about this enhancement to the Grand Prix footing,” said Tom Struzzieri, HITS President & CEO. “The ring will be done in plenty of time for the July shows. This will be a great update to the property and one of several new projects we have our eye on for Commonwealth Park.

In addition to new footing, HITS Culpeper will offer exhibitors two more chances to qualify for the Diamond Mills Hunter Prix Final and the Pfizer Million. The $5,000 Devoucoux Hunter Prix will highlight the schedule for hunters on Saturday July 9 and then again on July 16, while the $40,000 HITS Grand Prix on Sundays will draw top High-Performance riders Culpeper from far and wide.

As always, HITS Culpeper will feature a variety of offerings for riders, from Short Stirrup to High-Performance. The Marshall & Sterling (M&S) Pony Jumper Classic, Adequan Hunter, HITS 2’6” Hunter, $500 Bit O’Straw Hunter Classic, $15,000 Brook Ledge Open Jumper, $5,000 Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classics and $10,000 High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classics, all Culpeper favorites, return to the schedule each week, along with the $500 M&S/WIHS/NAL Children’s and Adult Hunter Classics and the $2,000 M&S/NAL Children’s and Adult Jumper Classics.
