Las Vegas, Nevada – From the red carpet to centerline, “Premier Equestrians” were in top form as Las Vegas welcomed the finest dressage and jumping riders in the world for the 2015 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage and Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Premier Equestrian, which provided the world-class dressage arenas and flower boxes for the prestigious event, also rolled out a red carpet for visitors and competitors with its own exceptional cast of welcoming stars, known as “Premier Equestrians.” The lineup of top riders who love Premier Equestrian’s arenas, footing, and products included Laura Graves, Adrienne Lyle, Debbie McDonald, Luca Maria Moneta, Linda Parelli, Steffen Peters, and Akiko Yamazaki. The riders were available to take “selfies” with fans and meet-and-greet show attendees at Premier Equestrian’s booth.

“What makes a Premier Equestrian? A ‘good sport’, who has achieved a high level of competition, generated awareness of the sport, and shared knowledge. An equestrian who has been outstanding in his or her contribution to horses, riding, and equestrian culture,” said Premier Equestrian's president Heidi Zorn. Zorn added that Vegas was the perfect place for Premier Equestrian, the North American distributor of the OTTO Sport Perforated Mat System, to bring its Premier Equestrians and dressage and jumping enthusiasts together. “We're horse people, too, and wanted to open to others the access to the great horsemen and women that we're lucky enough to know through working with arenas, footing, and jumps.”

Inside the Las Vegas World Cup arenas, Premier Equestrians also did not disappoint. Steffen Peters and Four Winds Farm LLC's 13 year-old bay Westfalen gelding, Legolas, launched the excitement on Thursday April 16 with a third-place performance (76.843 percent) in the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage Final I Grand Prix. On Saturday April 18, Laura Graves and 13 year-old bay KWPN gelding, Verdades, thrilled with a 79.125 fourth place in the Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Grand Prix Freestyle.

Competing in the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final was Italian show jumper Luca Maria Moneta, whose international success over a still relatively young (five-year) career has been simultaneous with his longtime dedication to the principles of natural horsemanship and work with Linda Parelli of Parelli Natural Horsemanship.

Referring to the Italian rider by his ringside moniker 'Carrot Man,' Parelli, who was in Las Vegas to support her fellow Premier Equestrians competing, said, “It's a big thing to see a ten-year student of Parelli Natural Horsemanship at the World Cup. Luca's mission is to show that you can reach the highest levels of your sport and still put the principles of a relationship with your horse first. The talent here is incredible. And word about the Parelli principles is spreading, thanks to international riders like Luca. Places like this— the World Cup— are where equestrians can unite. Our shared concerns are the welfare of the horse, relieving its emotional stress, and being helpful to all horsemen,” explained Parelli. With ideals like that, it’s no wonder that riders like Parelli and Moneta have been dubbed “Premier Equestrians” by a company that puts sportsmanship and horsemanship first.

“If we can bring the two worlds together – dressage with its gymnastic and systemic development while helping horses become more emotionally fit and confident— then the sky's the limit,” Parelli added.
