Sandy, UT Utah-based Premier Equestrian, a leading supplier of equestrian equipment, horse jumps, dressage arenas, and world-class footing, is proud to be sponsoring the Region 5 USDF Regional Dressage Championships this year in their very own home state of Utah on Oct 5th-7th. This prestigious event is being hosted by a joint partnership between Alison Child, Margo Gogan and Corinne Cody known as The Collectives, and is being held for the first time in its history at the The Wasatch Event Center in Herber City, Utah. "We're very excited to produce a high quality show for everyone to enjoy," states Margo Gogan. “After traveling all over the west to compete for championships every year, we finally have an opportunity to show on our own turf.” Premier Equestrian is excited to be joined by show sponsors and major Region 5 supporters Ann Romney and Melissa Connelly of Fortunado Farms.
Over 150 horse and rider teams are expected to come in from Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and possibly California to compete this year at The Wasatch Event Center. This beautiful new facility has a proven track record of producing exceptional shows and events. Competitors and horses have particularly enjoyed this state of the art stabling and indoor arena, and Premier Equestrian is dedicated to continuing their support of these equestrians from the western United States. “While many developing dressage champions hail from the east and west coasts, the mountain west is often overlooked,” explains Heidi Zorn of Premier. “We make it a point to recognize the top riders in the mountain west including Debbie McDonald, Adrienne Lyle and Madeleine Birch.” She continues, “Premier always strives to support dedicated, talented individuals who have worked their way up the levels, and promote American made athletes. Premier also proudly supports American manufacturers and suppliers, and all of Premier’s products are ‘Made in America.’”
As an official sponsor of the United States Dressage Federation, Premier Equestrian is well known in the dressage community and has a long history of their support of American equestrians. Premier supplied the dressage arenas for the 2010 World Equestrian Games, as well as the driving arenas, warm-up areas, flower boxes, and dressage letters. “The Brentina Arena (named after Debbie McDonald’s famous Olympic mount) was used for the main competition arena at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington and was very well received by the international dressage community,” Zorn said.
Considered America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of dressage arenas, Premier’s website offers extensive and informative information designed to help horse owners understand the differences in arenas as well as arena footing. Premier Equestrian also offers a complete line of horse jumps and horse jumping equipment, including horse jump standards, sponsor jumps, and cavaletti. Other Premier products include barn accessories, books & DVDs, as well as arena grooming and maintenance equipment.
