Do you want to participate in a very short questionnaire about you and your equestrian activities? Click HERE to complete the questionnaire.
The main objective of this survey is to identify the willingness of horse-riders and/or horse-riding schools to use an Equine Management System to protect both the rider and the horse during horse-riding activities and also to remotely monitor horses in real time when they are in a stable.
EquiSafe is a two-year project funded by the European Commission under the Research for the Benefit of SMEs Framework Programme (FP7) theme that will be completed in October 2015. The EquiSafe project aims to develop an electronic system that increases safety in horse riding and equestrian activities. The novel system will be developed for monitoring risks related to equine activities, equine health and behaviour. The system is intended to be used both by expert riders and also amateurs. All the information gathered from this survey is for research purposes only, and will be treated in the strictest confidence.
