Ottawa, Ontario— Canadians Belinda Trussell and Megan Lane each claimed big wins at the Spring into Dressage CDI 3* in their first competition on home soil after competing at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida during the winter show circuit. Both riders rely on Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals, Inc.’s natural equine supplements to keep their horses in top heath. It was clear that, with the help of Omega Alpha, the equestrians’ horses have made an excellent transition from their South Florida winter base to Ontario, Canada.

Trussell and her long-time partner Anton claimed wins in both the CDI Grand Prix (71.000%) and CDI Grand Prix Special (72.667%). Lane, with Caravella, came in second to Trussell in the CDI Grand Prix (69.840%) and was victorious in the CDI Grand Prix Freestyle (73.350%). Both horse and rider combinations competed for Canada at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games and are now vying for spots on the 2015 Pan American Games team (to be held in Toronto at the same facility as the Spring into Dressage CDI 3* was). Trussell is currently at the top of the leaderboard to ride in the Big Tour in the Pan American Games, closely followed by Lane.

Other Omega Alpha Ambassadors, Jacqueline Brooks and Christilot Boylen, also returned to Canada with a successful competition. Brooks placed second in the CDI Grand Prix Special (67.824%). Boylen placed just behind Brooks, coming in third in the CDI Grand Prix Special (66.765%).
