Ocala, Florida -  Oak Lane Farm's Westfalian Gelding Becomes World Championship Prospect! Chuck and Anne Koch's Mr. Bockman has been sold to London Paralympian Dale Dedrick as a World Equestrian Games U.S. team prospect. The 13-year-old Westfalian gelding (Arpeggio - Hauptstutbuch Amore) was imported from Europe and has been in training with Grand Prix dressage rider Chrissa Hoffman in Ocala. "It's always hard to give up a beautiful horse but I couldn't think of a better person for Mr. Bockman to go to," commented Anne Koch. "Dale is a beautiful rider, she has accomplished amazing things. We are looking forward to seeing Dale qualify and compete at  the World Equestrian Games in Normandy." Dale Dedrick from Ann Abor, MI, competed in the 2012 London Paralympics Grade II events riding Bonifatus was the 2011 Para-dressage National Champion and is campaigning for a place on the U.S. team for the 2014 Alltech World Equestrian Games.

"I'm excited to find another horse to compete in international para competition and I think this is exactly the right style of horse for me. It's a cute combination, he's easy for me to ride; he's not a horse that's going to grab the reins out of my hands, which is my biggest problem, and I'm really looking forward to competing him," said Dedrick.
