No Longer The Odd One Out

American Dressage Ponies Showcased at the National Pony Cup

"Normally, I'm the only pony at a show and I occasionally feel like the odd one out," explains Grant. "It was great seeing not only ponies, but a variety of ponies that are excelling at the sport and who they are attracting to it."

Grant has had much success with her haflingers at this show, Merrick RVRW (Walzertakt) and Navaho Classic (Nagano NTF) taking the National Pony Cup's Second level Grand Championship and Third Level Reserve Grand Champion, respectively.

The team scored into the low seventies.

"I was very pleased with how both of them went, they are incredibly talented and I'm fortunate to have both of them to ride," she states.
