A familiar face and voice on the American dressage show scene is British born, Nicho Meredith, the multilingual announcer. Able to announce in eleven languages, Meredith's talents come in handy adding an international flair to American events.
He begins the show day reading his own "spin on the morning news" cheering sleepy volunteers and riders warming up for the first test of the day. Meredith can handle three to five arenas with ease floating effortlessly announcing international riders like Berna Pujals in Spanish, Holger Betchloff in German and Vera Kessels in Dutch.
Diligent records kept on his travelling laptop allow him have critical information at his fingertips, so that spectators are kept informed on the important pedigrees represented throughout the day's classes.
