RV Life is the Way to Go When at a Show
For those of you headed for the Wellington CDI this weekend, you will see on the left of the entrance to the Winter Equestrian Festival a display of motor coaches and RV’s and Horse Trailers with living accommodations, as you enter the grounds. This is just a small sample of the huge and diverse inventory of Gigi Stetler’s RV Sales of Broward. Stetler, a horsewoman, amateur jumper rider, and partner with Olympian Nona Garson, who knows the needs of the hard traveling horseman, as well as the Wellington community.
But even if you are not in Welly World this weekend, their website can provide you with the first step you need to take for on the road comfort, and at an affordable price. They can deliver anywhere, and with their huge inventory, are in a position to offer living solutions to horsemen, events, and visitors.
New Living Options for Farm Owners
But that’s not all. Stetler has designed and built the perfect option for landowners in need of living space for grooms, clients, students, and relatives. Several versions of her mobile home designs, in a log cabin and Florida home layout, are classified as trailers, fully furnished and fully contained with holding tanks, and on a large sturdy wheel base, are the ideal solution for adding accommodations at an affordable price, without the need for costly permits required if you were to build. We checked out the pink Florida home, with its metal roof, vaulted ceilings, stylish kitchen, roomy bedroom and cozy living room area, and imagined all sorts of possibilities.
Sun rooms can be added to increase the space, and flashing can be put around the wheel base, and voila! A gorgeous cozy guest house, groom’s quarters, or better yet, rental space can be added to your property. There is also the rustic design, a log cabin, which has a loft, and other amenities which can easily be customized. Gigi has several versions stored at Littlewood right now.
Service in Style, and With a Smile
Anyone who has stopped into the HorsesDaily RV has seen the comforts of our home away from home. Customers who come in to visit to view their photos are treated to a seat in our massage chair, while they view their photo selection on our big screen TV, over the fireplace; yup that’s right a fireplace! People are always surprised when they enter our 34’ fifth wheel at the roominess and elegance of it all: the biggest surprise is the affordability. After 2 years in our current RV we are ready for an upgrade, which we will introduce at the Gold Coast Grand Finale, April 14-15, with an open house...er…RV reception.
With RV’s set up at the HITS show grounds in Saugerties and Lake Placid , New York, Lexington, Kentucky, as well as on her own campgrounds at Littlewood, just behind the WEF show grounds, RV Sales of Broward, also offers rentals and living options for grooms, competitors, and families. We checked out one RV, with built in satellite which can find a signal at the push of a button, a huge comfy living room, built in vacuum cleaner, and washer and drier. The person renting it for the last 2 weeks of the jumper shows was the father of a junior rider, just as a cool comfortable place to hang out between classes and keep and eye on the stock market. They didn’t even use the kitchen!
Done Deal, Great Deal with RV Sales of Broward
Perhaps the easiest deals I have ever made in my lifetime have been working with Gigi Stetler of RV Sales of Broward. She knows her business, and has the staff to help handle rentals, service, parts and accessories. They can often even deliver, and help set up and educate the owners on the maintenance and details of RV living. We picked out our new RV, and had them install a fireplace, a must for the chilly mornings and rainy show days on the road. It is currently being prepared, ready to move into next week. And what about the old one (only 2 years old)? That was another easy sell. When we told our “landlady” Janice LaPorte we were trading in our current camper, she bought it on the spot, for her daughter Suzanne, who is headed to New Jersey for the summer to train with Robert Dover. It sure beats the price of three months in a Residence Inn, and Suzanne can now be on grounds close to her horses. RV’s can be financed like a home over 15 years, making the payments, especially on used items. It could easily work out that the cost of one weekend in a hotel at a show, with meals could cover two months payments.
So stop in and visit the sales staff on the show grounds, and check out their website. Gigi said she would give special deal to all who mention HorsesDaily.com, so be sure to tell them you read about it here. Happy travels and come by and check out our new digs, and the Gold Coast Grande Finale.
